Hello, and welcome back to TheTravelGeeks travel blog. It’s been a while since we’ve traveled. This time we are headed back to Italy to visit Sicily and the Amalfi Coast. I leave the States tomorrow (Wednesday) so today I’m busy doing all the last minute travel tasks.
Basic Itinerary:
March 7/8 – Fly to Sicily
March 8 – 15 – Visit the resort town of Taormina, hike around Mt. Etna, drive the eastern and norther Sicily coastline, visit the historic town of Cefalu
March 15 – 23 – Self-guided bike tour of western Sicily
March 23 – 28 – Drive the incredible Amalfi Coast and relax with the views
March 29 – Fly back home
I know some of you might have been surprised that our Greece blog ended so suddenly on TheTravelGeeks.com. Well, my computer containing all my typed up blog posts for the last portion of the trip was stolen on our last day in Greece along with several other items. Things like that happen, but I never was able to go back and re-type all the missing days. Instead, you can watch a video I just recently put together to get an idea of how much fun it was to cycle in Greece.
