Leave Zermatt, travel by train to Geneve, then by train to Marseille

Sigh…….today we leave the hiker’s paradise known as Switzerland. It’s been a fabulous vacation. We were just commenting last night that this vacation was perfect with just the right amount of time in each location, good weather, and good lodging choices. We do love Switzerland and we can totally see us coming back to visit. If we get over our fear of cold winters, perhaps we might come back to ski one year. =) The pictures sure do make it look beautiful in the winter as well as the summer.
Today is a rather dull travel day. We left Zermatt this morning on the 7:39am train towards Visp. In Visp, we will change trains and go towards Geneve. In Geneve, we will then change trains once more to head to Marseille where we will spend the night in our normal Best Western hotel.
