July 3, 2012 (Day 21)
Today was a rather unremarkable day that I don’t really need to bore you with all the details. We decided that we did not need to go back to LEGOLAND today, though we were free to with our 2-day ticket. Instead, we figured our time would be best spent heading back to Copenhagen and getting ready to go home. First, we did some computer tasks since our hotel had a desktop computer we could use. Mostly, we needed to transfer files between two hard drives, something we could not do with either of our tablets.
Then, we took the bus from Billund to the train station in Vejle, and took the train back to Copenhagen arriving sometime in the later afternoon. From here on out, I spent the day doing laundry, packing, and we both worked on the puzzle. It was a welcome domestic day, really. We don’t get these kinds of days together while we live apart, and sometimes it’s nice just to kick back in an apartment, do some chores and work on a puzzle. Typing this up nearly a month and a half later….I realize that I did not right down what we did for dinner in my outline for today, but now that I think about it, I believe we went back to Wagamama. You might remember that was the Asian restaurant next to Tivoli that was really quite good despite it’s location. =)
Tomorrow we travel to Marseille to spend one night before both heading back home. We are both sad to be leaving Copenhagen
